About Carolyn

Carolyn Francis has been a full-time realtor in the Sarasota/Manatee market for over 18 years. She brings a history of being actively involved in a multigenerational family of realtors and experience in investment properties. She believes that being a realtor is not just a job, but a way of life. Her quality service, attention to detail, and her wealth of knowledge leaves buyers and sellers comfortable with the process, and happy with the results. Her clientele includes business professionals, retirees, investors, and vacation home buyers. She specializes in new construction and resale properties: golf, beach, resort communities, condos, and more. 

Carolyn first came to Sarasota at age 5, from snowy Minnesota! She has seen the growth and development from a small beach town to the beautiful waterfront city that it is today. In 1981 she purchased a condo on Siesta Key for use as a second home and investment property. After raising 3 children, she made her move to Sarasota to begin a career in real estate. She started at Re/Max on Siesta Key and later moved to Realty Executives at the Landings. She recently decide to join EXP, with advanced technology, revenue sharing and an agent-owned environment which promises to be best opportunity in real estate. The broker model allows agents with multi-state licenses to do business in more than one state without having separate brokers. Carolyn is licensed in Florida and Minnesota. Carolyn is part of the FRANCIS GROUP with Stuart and Patricia Francis, and several other team member associates.

On a personal note: Carolyn has 3 married children, 7 grandchildren and extended family living in Sarasota and in the Minneapolis-St. Paul, Mn. Her son, Stuart Francis, EXP REALTY, is working the Sarasota and Minneapolis market with his EXP team members. Carolyn lives on Siesta Key with her significant other, Skip Halsey, originally from Charleston, S.C.. They attend Emmanual Lutheran Church in Venice, belong to Suntex Boat Club, and enjoy biking and walking the beach. Skip is retired and acts as a golf course guide to those who are new to the area! Carolyn is the originator of Sarasota Walkers, which she started 12 years ago to help newcomers and others who wanted to get to make new friends and explore the greater Sarasota area by walking.
